About the NSSCJ Learning Hub

The NSSCJ Learning Hub is the digital learning platform of the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice, an initiative led by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and partners.

This platform was designed to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for NSSCJ participants, especially those attending virtually. It offers:

  • Live streaming of all training modules and plenary sessions
  • Access to course content, including presentations, readings, and resources
  • Group assignments and collaboration spaces
  • Photo and video galleries from the sessions
  • Module-based activities to deepen your understanding of key concepts

This space is here to support the learner’s journey to become an emerging climate justice leader—before, during, and after the summer school.

Teaching Method

At Nairobi Summer School, we believe in a dynamic, learner-centered approach that blends flexibility, interactivity, and practical engagement. Our Learning Management System (LMS) is thoughtfully designed to accommodate diverse learning styles and varying schedules, ensuring that all participants have access to a consistent, inclusive, and high-quality educational experience.

We combine both in-person (physical) sessions and online learning to create a hybrid model that caters to learners across different contexts and geographies. Whether attending on-site or joining virtually, every participant is fully engaged through interactive sessions, real-time discussions, and collaborative activities. This approach ensures that no learner is left behind and that the learning environment remains rich, vibrant, and participatory, regardless of the mode of delivery.
